FAQ

Q: How does porch pickup work?

A: After your purchase, I will send you an email to arrange for you to pick up your item in NE Edmonton. My preferred pickup days are Saturdays and Sundays, but other arrangements can be made as needed. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, pickup will be contactless. After being sanitized, your item will be placed on my front step, wrapped and labeled with your first name.

Q: I’m out of town right now/I’m not coming to Edmonton until next month/I have no space for the item yet, can you store it for me?

A: I’m happy to store your purchased item until you’re able to arrange for pickup. It will be your responsibility to contact me when you’re ready to come pick it up.

Q: Why isn’t there shipping available on the item I want to purchase?

A: Certain items are too large and/or breakable to realistically be able to ship in a way that will protect the item, while also being affordable to both myself and the customer. I want to avoid one-of-a-kind items arriving at their new homes in pieces!

Q: Can I purchase by commenting/DMing you on Instagram? Can you hold an item for me?

No. Any contact through Instagram is for questions about items only. All item can only be purchased through my website. Items will not be put on hold, however, I can store a purchased item for you if you’re unable to pick it up in a timely manner.

Q: Why can’t I get a refund?

A: Vintage goods are pre-loved, and because of this, some wear and tear is to be expected. I will always describe the quality of the item so that you know what to expect. If an item is purchased, I understand this to mean you have read the listing and know what you have purchased.
